Favorite photo
I choose this image as my favorite picture due to light and shadows created by the roses and the window. the shadows created by the window shades look very interesting to me and i think it looks very pretty, i also love how the light comes off the roses.

Mirrors
the clock image
1. the location of my image was in Mrs.Troutmans room
2. I positioned the mirror on top of one of the twinkly lights so it was up on an angle, I positioned the camera down on the ground so it was level with the clock and the lights
3. I was able to create a reflection of the clock in the mirror
4. the dark background, twinkly lights, and glass jars tie the image of the clock and the mirror together.they are all of similar colors and all of the objects look good together
5. after consulting my fellow photographer, Madison Gonclaves, we have concluded that my picture creates a spooky vibe. "it could be in a haunted house" Maddie Said. I think with the lights, the filter and the distorted clock that I agree with Madison.
6. The idea of time passing is the concept of my photo
7. yes because u can see the reflection of time in the mirror as a different time, almost like. different universe, than the time in real life.
8. T.s. Eliot burnt Norton, "Time present and time past Are both perhaps present in time future,And time future contained in time past.
If all time is eternally present All time is unredeemable"

Cyanotype
1. First I had to invert my original picture of the flower to create a negative.
2. My second step was to take a piece of paper and lightly paint it with the light sensitive chemical mixture.
3. After the paper dried the next day we placed the paper onto a wooden board and the inverted picture on top with a piece of glass over it and clipping each side of the picture with binder clips.
4. Next I went outside and left my picture facing the sun for 12 minutes exposing it to the light. The longer I left it out the darker and the shorter amount of time I left it out the lighter.
5. I then brought my image inside and put it in a bucket of water and got rid of all the yellow on my image.
6. After rinsing it off in the water I then poured hydrogen peroxide on the image to intensify the blue color.
7. Lastly I took my image and left it to dry for 24 hours on the drying rack.
